Once in a while we received postcard from South America. Often these postcards travelled for about 1 month to arrive here in Malaysia. And they are always a happy receiving for us!

This postcard features origami of a crane. One of the origami items that my son made when he started doing his origami.

Most of the time senders of the postcards will look at our profile and try to send postcard that are relevant.

Post 365 Photo Challenge | Malaysian Honey Bee | Apis Cerana

Apis Cerana.

This is our local honey bee. Named Apis Cerana or “Lebah” in Malay. “Madu” is honey in Malay. So they are called Lebah Madu here.

I came across these bees quite often but was not successful in getting good photo of them. This one was taken using my iPhone.

Few years ago we did some beekeeping activities and had a great time doing it. My friend sold his farm and we stopped doing the beekeeping hobby. Hopefully we can do this again.
